Derk Cheetwood was born in Fremont, Ohio on October 8, 1973,  but Raised in Bowling Green, Ohio.

In August of 1992 Derk packed up his pick up truck and headed west to L.A. to pursue an acting career. In 1993 he made his Television debut on a Saturday morning sitcom called Running The Halls.

The years to come would be very busy for the Derk.

Having done over three dozen national commercials for companies such as Chevy, Bud light, and everything in-between, he began to find success in Guest Starring on popular shows as Ally Mcbeal, The Mentalist, Moonlight, CSI ,The Shield, and many more.

In 1997 Derk got his first part in a major film, Kevin Costner’s The Postman.

Derk later followed that with such films as Universals U-571 starring along side McConaughey, Jon Bon Jovi, Harvey Keitel, Bill Paxton, and many others.

Projects to follow would include Television Movies and Series Regular parts on T.V.. Derk would again work along side Bill Paxton & Matthew McConaughey in the 2002 Thriller Frailty.

Shortly after finishing the film Derk would get the opportunity to work along side Cousin Tyler Christopher and great friend Steve Burton on ABC’s General Hospital where he still works today.

Derk currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Cari, daughter Kylie, and trustee dog Bella.
